Israel needs peace, and diplomacy alone will not deliver it.
We founded Shalom Aleinu to fund the civic foundation that makes peace possible.
The most recent war has intensified international diplomatic attention to the Israeli–Palestinian conflict. Regional and global actors continue to explore political and normalization frameworks.
Inside Israel, however, there is no structured civic preparation for a political breakthrough. Israeli society remains divided, and there is currently no sustained internal process capable of generating the broad public legitimacy required for a political resolution.
Diplomatic initiatives can open doors. Without civic readiness, those doors close quickly.
Shalom Aleinu was established to address this gap.

Peace as Civic Return
Shalom Aleinu invests in a diversified portfolio of initiatives that generate measurable change in education, public discourse, and Israel’s civic vision for peace.
It is the first investment platform dedicated to treating peace itself as public return — with social, cultural, economic, and policy implications.
Together, we invest in Israel as it was intended to be: a thriving society living in peace and cooperation with all its communities, its neighbors, and the wider region — a source of resilience and inspiration.

We have learned to live amid crises. Yet the absence of peace continues to shape daily life. It is reflected in anxiety, instability, polarization, and loss.
This trajectory is not inevitable.
Peace will not arrive as a diplomatic miracle. It will emerge only through deliberate civic effort, through institutions, leadership, education, and sustained public engagement.
Each of us has a role in that effort. Shalom Aleinu is not a commentary on the situation. It is action within it.
We invite you to take part.
